We Were Insurgents

Two hundred thirty-one years ago today,
the United States of America was teeming with insurgents
who used tar & feathers, dressed up like Natives and lynched tax-men,
striking terror into the hearts and minds of our occupiers.

Linkin Park

Linkin Park, fortunately, is a band whose time has come and gone. I have to admit, I was a fan of some of their crap. They produced a particular sound which just seemed to resonate nicely in my head that summer. And there's something about a sensitive Afro-Asian rapper throwing out counterpoints to a screeching Mormon meth-nerd which I found disturbingly sexy.

I think it reminded me of high school. Anyway, this parody is pretty spot-on. Enjoy.

Something's missing...

According to my sources,
this blog is one of the most exclusive ever!
What drastic means must I undertake to increase traffic to my site?

I thought the mere mention Morrissey might attract millions. Or that discussing Dungeons & Dragons draw the droves. But no, it seems that if I'm to attract the attention of the masses I'll have to blog about Harry Potter's penis, Hillary Duff's muff, Paris Hilton's nip slip, free teen lolita lunch (popular search terms according to DogPile SearchSpy, June 23, 2007).

Is Daniel Radcliffe really hung like his horse?
Will this strategy cause a spike in my statistics?

Click back soon. I'll keep you posted.

Who can't relate?

Okay, so I'm a nerd

Advanced Dungeons & Dragons, anyone?

It's been a long time since I played the old classic with my friends Kyle, Trevor & Grant. And sometimes Max.

But now that my nephews are old enough to play, I'm back in the game. There are some awesome new web-based tools available which allow the dedicated Dungeon Master to spend more time with his players and less time looking through the books. Even rolling dice has become automatic.

Set up a card table next to your computer and get ready to play.

This site gives new meaning to the term Dungeon Master's Screen.

Links Added

I've just added a few of my favorite links. These are the places I visit most often, the resources I don't want to be without if I ever go out of town. Perhaps you'll get some use out of a few of them too.

My first blog ever

If you click the picture you'll see an animation of some guy I could have sworn looks just like my brother. He'd probably totally disagree. No offense meant, Bro. I'm probably just missing you.
